Day One

A great send off from home with friends Bill & Ginny still in their dressing gowns, Malcolm and Ella and the gang. Mark kept me company to Wilton and then cycled home. The journey was great, using canal tow paths, cycle/railway tracks and empty country lanes all the way. It was a longer journey than planned, 130 km but it was all on the flat and I'm young and fit. Tim cooked a splendid meal and after 10 hours sleep I should be ready to invade Wales tomorrow with Tim as a pace maker.
