Day Twenty-four
The storm hit over night and scattered the roads and cycle ways into Belfast with branches and a few trees. After a bit of shopping I took my bike down to the harbour to show King Billy, or at least his statue. Then donned my waterproofs to cycle to Belfast. As Phil had said there is a cycle path along the shores of Lough Belfast for the last 8 kms of the very wet and yet otherwise, unremakable ride. Looking at a bird spotting poster alongside the lough I saw that the young oystercatchers I identified yesterday were actually fully grown Dunlin, well I never! A mistake in this blog!
22 kms today.
