Day Two

89km

Left Tim's and was soon on a good cycle path out of Bristol along the side of the Avon, under the Clifton Suspension Bridge over the motorway bridge and on to the Old Severn Bridge, which I cycled across some 23 years ago on a trip to Snowdon. Then over lots of marsh land, through industrial sites, Newport and over the hills to a B&B in Rudry - not far from Caerphilly.
Nearly all the journey today was along National Cycle Network routes, some of which are traffic free and the others on quiet side roads.
