Day Two
89km
Left Tim's and was soon on a good cycle path out of Bristol along the side of the Avon, under the Clifton Suspension Bridge over the motorway bridge and on to the Old Severn Bridge, which I cycled across some 23 years ago on a trip to Snowdon. Then over lots of marsh land, through industrial sites, Newport and over the hills to a B&B in Rudry - not far from Caerphilly.
Nearly all the journey today was along National Cycle Network routes, some of which are traffic free and the others on quiet side roads.

looking forward to seeing you Friday- you have drawn a crowd, 16 in total should be a good night.
Any requests for breakfast let me know.
